Okay, so here’s the deal with the next two weeks, and why I may not post about anything except stressing out about finals until it’s over:
- Finals are next week, and that should say enough.
- But for the sake of whining, it’s relevant to note that my two most major exams are on the same day, namely Chem II and Calc II.
- Chem II’s got quite the workload, what with two more homework assignments due this Friday, 2 overall reviews and 8 ACS reviews due on Monday. Nonetheless, makes for good practice. Hopefully I can actually pull through with that.
- The curve that comes with Chem II is not only expected, but as a result, natural, having much to do with our actual national ranking on the top ten colleges with shittiest professors (Hi Stevens! Hey SHU! Jersey pride!).
- The curve that doesn’t come with Calc II is not only expected, but as a result, natural, having much to do with our actual national ranking on the top ten colleges with least happy students. First place, actually. Consecutively, and beating military schools at that. So without further elaboration, if I mess up the Calc II final, this will result in a domino effect that soon enough spells out, “You are fucked.” And so on.
- In brighter news, Lanel (@yourrrsoulmate) was awesome enough to take it upon herself to post this internet-inspired bit around the NJIT campus. I was able to find one of them and took a picture of it with my cell phone camera. Had quite the lovely impact on others. I’m considering printing more. If anyone else wants to do it, go ahead!
- Oh and my sister and I got Tim Tams. At this hour, not sure if the coffee was worth the Tim Tam Slams. Not sure why I’m going through with finishing the coffee, actually. Fuck.

What the fuck.
I just cannot give a fuck anymore about school. Just one more final tomorrow, and I’m officially free, at least in the sense of having no more classes. But it already feels like summer for me. Hesitantly, I’ve wasted away today. Not procrastinating, not how I usually procrastinate really. I’ve just been sitting around doing nothing. Trying to compensate now, at least a little by watching an MIT professor’s lectures on youtube. That he teaches clearly already puts him above the physics professors I’ve had. Of course, I’ll be studying through notes, old homework and all that stuff, but it’ll be a long shot. Eugh.

my last day of classes was yesterday, so i’ve got nothing to do but review for the chem final tomorrow, fix up a bibliography, worry incessantly about failing any of my classes with a terrible feeling in my gut that’s probably anxiety and terror’s incest-born lovechild, and revise two essays for a portfolio thing.
i’ve been sitting here for the past two and a half hours telling myself to go do it. when i say “time to stop procrastinating and get to work”, hopefully it’ll be enough force to get me in motion. /physics reference
